Best La Quinta I have stayed in yet!
This is a new property. This was by far the nicest La Quinta I have stayed in. I was put in an executive room. A lot of space. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Housekeepers in the halls always said hello with a smile. Front desk staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was typical La Quinta breakfast. The sitting area was very nice. Highly recommend! Stayed: November 2018, traveled as a couple
AMAZING stay in Durango
The staff was so wonderful at this property. We checked in with the mobile app as we were arriving late and everything was ready when we got there. My husband and daughter were going skiing the following morning so they offered to store all their gear so they didn’t have to lug it back and forth from our room which was so nice! They also allowed my infant son and I a late check out until my parents arrived as my husband had taken our vehicle to Purgatory! The room was super clean and modern. Beds and pillows were both comfortable. Breakfast was also very good! Will definitely stay again!
Great Hotel With an Inexpensive Pet Fee
We spent a couple nights in Gallup scouting the city for a future relocation, and decided to book here since I belong to their point club. The hotel was clean and comfortable and they’re one of the few Holiday Inns that accept dogs. I’ve paid up to $80 per stay for my dog at other Holiday Inn’s, so $10 per night was very reasonable. The breakfast was well stocked and maintained, although it was the same for each of the 2 days. Some other properties change up their breakfast each day, and this would of been great if they did. All in all, a great place to stay and I would definitely stay again.
Perfect handicapped room
Too bad more hotels can’t copy this one! We had a handicapped room with roll in shower, as I am an amputee. Our room was clean, spacious, our king bed was comfy and the bathroom was perfect. The shower had an attached, fold down bench. The shower controls were in the center were you could reach them too. This room was perfectly ADA compliant. Thank you Holiday Inn! It proves some hotels can get it right.
Great pet friendly hotel for overnight or extended stay
New hotel with great amenities including a fully equipped IKEA style kitchen in the room, or a huge outdoor grill on the patio in case you are inclined to cook after a day of travel. If not, there’s a Denny’s in the same parking lot, and other restaurants nearby clustered around the same freeway exit. The room was spacious, with a huge closet and an actual dining table large enough for four people. The bed was comfortable and the whole hotel appeared to be spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet was ample and varied, with several different hot and cold offerings. In fact, it was one of the best hotel breakfast buffets I’ve ever seen. The hotel is pet friendly, and the staff are courteous and helpful. There’s also a pool and workout room that looked very nice, but we were unable to take advantage of them during our short stay, so I can’t provide any meaningful insights about them. I would definitely recommend this for either a short or extended stay.
Mid trip last minute stop!!!
I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT HOW AWESOME THIS PLACE IS! We needed a place to stop and we didn’t have reservations. We are on our way to Lake Powell and are hauling 2 wakeboard boats. Our biggest concern was their safety over night. This hotel not only has video surveillance but also an on-duty armed Security Guard. He was very helpful. The front staff was incredible too! And the continental breakfast was delicious. The 2 bedroom suites are incredibly nice! We have already booked the suites for on the way back!
Comfort Plus
We were traveling from Las Vegas back home to Phoenix when we encountered several almost comedic obstacles i.e. getting on wrong freeways, going the wrong way for a half hour, having to make several pit stops for family members and then encountering a minor problem with the car. So a short trip back to Phoenix was turning into an all day event and we were exhausted so decided to stop in Kingman for the night to rest. We are so glad we did. From the moment we walked in the door until we checked out everything was 5* plus. As we entered the door we walked into a kitchenette complete with upright refrigerator/freezer, sink, dishes, stovetop cooking area, and even a dishwasher. This went into a spacious room with a couch, ottoman and desk-like table area. There was a huge room dividing pull curtain that separated this area from two queen size beds that were further into the room. There was another desk like area and countertop all along the back wall for storage along with a huge TV. Spacious closet area was also at the very end. Although we were only there overnight to "recharge ourselves" this would have been a perfect place for a few day stay. The room was clean, quiet and more than comfortable.
Great place to stay
We needed a place to spend the night on our way to California from New Mexico, and we are glad we stayed at this hotel. The hotel and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. All the staff was amicable and knowledgeable. On our way back from California, we decided to stay there once again because of our great experience. The staff goes above and beyond to make the stay pleasant. By the second stay, the lady in the front desk, Kristen, knew who we were and gave us a personalized welcome.
